HILLCLIMB Mountain-race to the Maiskogel

This battle for the Maiskogel hill climb will in the end come down to minutes and seconds. The challenge is to conquer the route under 40 minutes for the first time on this 10 kilometre long route, with 900 meters of climbing! This Hillclimb is a pleasant ride for everyone and it is only in the last few metres that it becomes somewhat demanding, however, by then you’ll already have the finish line in sight and numerous spectators, who were transported to the finish line of the Hillclimb by the Maiskogel cable car, will be cheering you on with applause.
In addition to the usual categories there is also a team category. 3 participants, regardless of gender constitute a team.
By taking the times of the fastest and the slowest teams, an average-time will be calculated this year for the first time. The team which achieves the average time the best, will receive a valuable gift prize!
The record holder for the event from 2007 is Roman Angerer 40:07 - this is the time you’ll have to beat!
At the end of the race there will be a Pasta Party at the Salzburger Platz with a free pasta meal for all participants.

Start:	Saturday, 5. July 2008 / 6 pm at the Salzburger Platz in the Centre of Kaprun.
Finish:	Mountain Inn Glocknerblick
Route Length:	10 Kilometer.
Meters of Climbing:	900 Meter.
Categories:	Ladies, U 17, Juniors, Men, Master 1, Master 2, Master 3. The organizer will combine categories, if there are not enough participants!
Team Appraisal:	3 participants form a team. All team members must declare the same team name on registering (In the race office, there are forms for the registration of the teams).
Start Fee:	€ 18,- until 30. June thereafter € 23,- + € 20,- bond money for CYCLIP CHIPSYSTEM (to be paid on site). The registration is valid only when the start fee has arrived on our account!

Registration and Start Numbers:	Friday, 4. July from 2 am until 8 am in the gymnastic-hall of the grade school Kaprun. Saturday, 5. July from 8 am until 5 pm in the gymnastic-hall of the grade school Kaprun.
