The XC-BATTLE is the
climax and spectator-magnet of BIKE INFECTION: The
alleys and streets of Kaprun will be densely packed
with spectators when the world-best
Mountainbike-riders give their all on the
spectacular circular-course in the center of Kaprun
over steps, ramps, tree-trunks and the water pass.
Only the very best athletes will go through into the
final round to fight for prize money totaling
€ 7000.
Until last year, the XC-BATTLE was a male bastion,
however now also Ladies will intervene in the battle
for podium places during the Mountain bike
elimination stages.
At the end of the race there will be a Pasta Party
at the Salzburger Platz with a free pasta meal for
all participants.
